Children Ministry
Our children’s ministry is called “Route 252.” Classes for Kindergarten through 4th grade are organized into 6 stations that students rotate through. Each week they attend a different station (Creation Station, Bible Mania, Bible Time drive-in, Ed’s Service Station, Library of History, 252 Diner). In addition to Route 252, we have classes available for children ages 0-4 years old. We have great teachers in our Cradle Roll (0-12 months), Toddlers and 2’s, and our 3-4 year old classes!

Youth Ministry
College Ministry
Our college ministry exists to give our students a church family to call home while they are in college. Our goal is for them to draw closer to God, be challenged in their faith, and to find their place in the church.
Men's Ministry
Our men’s ministry provides opportunities for our men to get together for periods of worship, outreach, and fellowship. Join us if you’re able!

Ladies Ministry
Soul Sisters – A mentoring ministry designed to develop closer relationships across generations among women in the church. Big sisters will be sharing personal stories at monthly meetings to go along with our 2025 theme – “This is My Story!”
Joyful Hearts – A ministry that reaches out to the widows of the congregation to strengthen and encourage them.
Tuesday Morning Class – Bible study group that meets year round (except for summers) at 10:00. Led by Rhonda Collins.
Ladies Retreat – Each year our ladies meet to spend time encouraging, building relationships, and strengthening their relationships with God.

Senior Pointers
Lads to Leaders
The 2025 convention theme for L2L is “Meant for Good.” The Lads to Leaders and Leaderettes program has been vital to our goals of spiritual growth and developing our young people into leaders. It is never too late to be involved with L2L! For more information, see Jordan McDaniel (256-443-2825).
Keepers
Our Keepers are made up of a group of young ladies from Stony Point who are learning valuable life skills from some of the more experienced ladies in the congregation. They are building relationships, gaining practical knowledge, and being encouraged in their faith and personal growth.
At SPYG, faith is more than a Sunday thing — it’s a way of life. We’re a family of teens who laugh together, serve together, and grow together as we follow Jesus. From worship nights and service projects to game nights and Bible studies, our goal is simple: to know Christ and make Him known. As Paul reminded Timothy, “Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity” (1 Timothy 4:12). Come belong, grow, and shine with us!
